BURNABY – In February 2016 the Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness publicly advertised they were in need of office and warehouse space to sustain and improve work with volunteers and support the vision and work of the Society.
In June 2016 The Burnaby Task Force On Homelessness made a public announcement that this informal group was now The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby.
The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby acknowledges the generosity of the New Vista Society for providing us with temporary office space.
“New Vista Society recognizes the longstanding dedication of The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby to work collaboratively to identify and address issues of homelessness in this city. Partnering in the provision of an office space is a viable way for New Vista to support this important work in the community,” states Darin Froese, CEO, The New Vista Society.
“We deeply appreciate this support from The New Vista Society and recognize this contribution as a demonstration of New Vista’s commitment to community partnership and public engagement,” states Wanda Mulholland, Coordinator of The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby.
