Thank you! Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors that made today’s Summer BBQ such a huge success. The sun was shinning, the people were dancing, the Burnaby firefighters were cooking up burger after burger and the music by the Dirty White Collar band was awesome! We got so many donations and local providers who helped our floral fiesta bloom bright today.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped at the games and prize tables, at the food tables, inside the kitchen, in the clothing hall and especially to those who stuck around after to help clean up! Everyone who helped with the set up on Wednesday were real troopers too transporting heavy items without complaint.
Thank you also to Vancity for the generous donation of the delicious tuxedo cakes that were served! The cake as well as the burgers, chips and pop provided by the Burnaby firefighters made the BBQ complete!
