Twice Feels Nice 2017

BURNABY – The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby is partnering with Creekside Community Church to host the fifth annual Twice Feels Nice, a collaboration with local businesses, agencies, schools, and faith communities to gather donations of clothing, and blankets for Burnaby’s less fortunate.

The theme for this successful annual event is Twice Feels Nice.  “It feels nice to share your used items with someone in need.”

“As the season changes and those of us who have safe housing look into our closets to recycle items no longer needed, there are increasing numbers of Burnaby citizens who are living without access to proper clothing. Please consider donating your clean gently used clothing at Twice Feels Nice to benefit people in need,” requests Wanda Mulholland, coordinator of The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby.

The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby invites all interested persons to participate in Twice Feels Nice by bringing donated items to the parking lot of the Central Christian Assembly 5855 Imperial (corner of Kingsway and Imperial) on Saturday May 6 between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

The most urgent needs at this time include: clean new or gently used clothing for adult men and women: coats, jeans, tops, sweaters, shoes and boots, blankets or towels.

Please note that donations will not be distributed during the Twice Feels Nice event.
