There’s just something special about a beautiful summer afternoon. A nice breeze, something delicious on the BBQ, and good people to relax with. It’s one of those summer days that we all live for. Our yearly outreach summer BBQ is coming up, and it will be on Thursday, July 11th, 2019. This year’s theme will be the 1950’s!
At this year’s event there will be live entertainment, and amazing food, but we are also giving away prizes, and providing fun and interactive games for everyone to enjoy! It’s a great opportunity for people to connect with each other but also with their community.
The BBQ will start at 9:00am and end at 11:00am, and it will be hosted at Southside Community Church, 7135 Walker Ave, Burnaby, BC V5E 3C6 but the trick to throwing such a fabulous event is that we need your help. There are a number of tasks that come with throwing special events and it would be amazing if you can dedicate your time to assist at the event.
Being able to enjoy some things, like a good summer BBQ, is a privilege that some people don’t have. Help someone else get a taste of summer by contributing to your time to our summer BBQ
