Neighbourhood Food Hub

A safe, non-judgemental space where our community's most vulnerable can receive essential grocery items weekly with dignity

Burnaby Neighbourhood Food Hub

The Burnaby Neighbourhood Food Hub is a safe, non-judgemental space where our community's most vulnerable can receive essential grocery items weekly with dignity. We are currently sourcing culturally appropriate items to be able to serve guests of all ethnicities and cultures at our Food Hub. The Food Hub is held in collaboration with The Neighbourhood Church.

It Takes A Community

Based on the latest data from Statistics Canada’s Canadian Income Survey, 5.8 million Canadians, including 1.4 million children, in the ten provinces lived in food-insecure households in 2021.

Our Food Hub strives to help those living in food-insecure households to supplement their nutrition. We rely on the generous support of community members and businesses to help us provide our community in Burnaby with the nutrition they need. See a list of our Top 10 Pantry Staples for Donation below. You can also learn how to Hold a Food Drive in our own community.
